Last August 2023, after I left my full time job I decided to create a blog to share my thoughts and experiences about being a physical therapist. And now, 6 months later I have only posted 3 blog entries with nothing really interesting to show for.
But I take it as it is because now that I am slowly finding my time, I could say my life has been moving too fast and I am so overwhelmed with literally everything.
As Bruce Feiler said - Lifequakes do happen when a "massive burst of change that leads to a period of upheaval, transition and renewal".
For me that decision of leaving my job lead me to the unfamiliar transition in my PT life, which gave me more opportunities to learn and explore.
I had a plan that I would apply in a part-time online job while I do some home care service side-hustles. But maybe God has other plans for me because I never had luck in securing an online job. And so I tried to do some freelance work, but I had difficulty in managing my schedule and routine.
Fast forward to 2024, I am now a self-employed physical therapy clinic owner. It was once a dream when I was still as student, but now it has finally turned into a reality.
So why am I sharing this?
It is because, now that I have reached a goal I realized that it is not the outcome that truly matters, but the process and the progress you get through everyday. That life is never a journey from point A to point B, but it is actually a journey to the different points in life that would let you feel different emotions life fear, worries, anxiousness, anger, faith, hope and love that will make you feel alive everyday.
And so as I walk through this path, I would like to share a daily dispatch on what's going on in my life. To keep track, stack up and hope to find some healing in this PT life.
